They will take questions and input from the “public”.Apparently there is some magic whereby a committee of House and Senate members meet and approve changes for re-submission to the main body.Judy NC will make changes tomorrow, to justify their existence, the magic committee will meet, the bill will go to the House, then back to the Senate for approval of the changes, I think.There should be enough conservative legislators to carry the bill.I will lobby against the bill on principle but for it on need and hopefully challenge the legislators on the concept of applying the law fairly and equally according to the Constitution. Zeb BlanchardYesterdays “hearing ” was a resounding joke but typical of the legislative zoo under the Dome. Setzler was the ring master and announced at 10:10 that the bill had not been printed and the meeting would wait for the bill. So at 10:30 the bill was distributed Mitch read the changes and the liberals filibustered the rest of the time away with drivel. Setzler called the meeting at 11:30 without taking comments as he did not have enough members to pass it on vote. Approximately 40 folks attended, 15 where on the clipboard to speak.
